Metal Additive Manufacturing Conference Seeks Technical Papers

The program committee for the Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy Conference (AMPM2020) has issued a “Call for Papers & Posters” covering the latest developments in the fast-growing field of metal additive manufacturing (AM). The AMPM Conference has grown significantly since its debut in 2014 as the only conference focused on metal AM, and this year there will be an entire extra day of technical sessions. This is only the second time that the AMPM Conference will be held with the co-located World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials (WorldPM2020) will and the International Conference on Tungsten, Refractory & Hardmaterials. All three events will be held in Montréal, Canada, June 27–July 1, 2020, at the Montréal Convention Center.

Saddle up for POWDERMET2019 & AMPM2019

The powder metallurgy (PM) and metal additive manufacturing (AM) industries are gearing up for the biggest North American industry conferences of the year in just under a month. POWDERMET2019, International Conference on Powder Metallurgy and Particulate Materials, and the co-located AMPM2019, the Additive Manufacturing with Powder Metallurgy Conference, will be in the heart of Phoenix June 23–26, 2019, at the Sheraton Grand. Saddle up and join the PM and AM industries for the most vibrant conference yet!

Return of the Robotics & Automation in Powder Metallurgy Seminar

For the first time in over a decade, the Robotics & Automation in Powder Metallurgy Seminar will return to highlight ways to help your plant eliminate waste, improve quality and productivity, and streamline labor usage. Join over a dozen speakers December 11–12, 2018, at the Penn Stater Conference Center, State College, Pennsylvania. The advance rate registration deadline is November 2.

PM Sintering Seminar Concludes

This year's Powder Metallurgy Sintering Seminar, held September 25–26 in State College, Pennsylvania, was another rousing success. The seminar attracted over 65 attendees with backgrounds and experience levels ranging from entry level to experienced, and over half of the attendees reported being involved in engineering. Other areas such as quality assurance, production, sales, and management were also represented. One of the best statistics to come out of the course...
