Brandon Davis has been named Chief Operating Officer of 6K Additive, Inc., Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. He will oversee the company's global operations, including metal powder production and alloy additions.

 

 

Scott Davis has been named Sales Director Powders, for GKN Hoeganaes part of Dauch Corporation, effective May 1, 2026.  He will oversee the North America commercial team.

AMES, Barcelona, Spain, has celebrated the official inauguration of its new factory in Wuhu, China. The facility will focus on PM parts for mechanical and hydraulic applications, supporting global markets.

Global Tungsten & Powders, Towanda, Pennsylvania, and investment firm Manhattan Five Partners LLC, have entered into a collaboration agreement to establish a strategic tungsten oxide stockpile in the US. This initiative is designed to support US national security objectives, strengthen domestic supply chain resilience, and reduce reliance on foreign adversarial sources for critical minerals.

IperionX Limited, South Boston, Virginia, has announced the installation of its advanced 300-ton six-axis SACMI PM press at its Titanium Manufacturing Campus. The press significantly increases IperionX’s compaction capacity and the ability to manufacture a broader range of complex titanium components using its PM technologies.

On May 14th APMI International President Rob Hayes, Phoenix Sintered Metals LLC, awards Kevin Klink, Nichols Portland LLC,  a complimentary Full Registration to WorldPM2026 being held in Montreal Canada,  Kevin was automatically entered into the drawing by attending at least 5 of the 7 West Penn APMI Chapter meetings held this year.
